Congrats Mamoru for completed your debut for dualthlon race.

Kesian Mamoru, he got no time at all to prepare himself for this race due to his busy working schedule and generously sacrifice balance of his free time for my marathon training (thank you b ❤️).

Done easy long run this morning.

Should do this kind of run more often. Its really enjoyable. Running while chit chat all the way for 3 hours non stop and never out of breath! Impressive.

Cant wait for my revovery run tomorrow 💪💪

Weekly session with coach Edan & SAC team.

Jalan jem teruk malam tadi. Dah almost give up nak patah balik umah. Tapi sabauu.. gagahkan jugak layan jem pi training.

Pukul 8.30 malam baru sampai stadium MPSJ subang. Terus lari sorang2 atas trek. Team yang lain semua dah halfway session. Nasib lah.

Bila session habis, aku pegi cari air Lucozade. Haus bak hang. Tapi abis lah pulak. Tinggal kotak je.. 😭😭😭😭.

Nampak Vanidah berdiri depan aku. Tak sempat nak tegur dia dah sapa dulu.

Punyalah peramah. Non-stop dia bercakap. Comel ❤️

Dia cakap dia stalked IG aku. Baca story aku pasal gunung, camping, lari, preggy etc.

Ok. Im flattered. *pengsan 2 saat*

She really made my day tau. #bestfriendalready 💕

Managed to run 4km je malam tadi. Tapi tak kisah pun coz dah cover masa lari session pagi 😉

Briefieng/knowledge session dengan coach Edan memang sangat ditunggu2. Just what I need to recharge my semangat.

Really had so much fun last night. Plus the makan2 session sempena birthday Rumie & Rashidi Ishak.

Happy sampai berjoget sepanjang drive balik rumah dari MPSJ.

6 weeks down!

Sometimes kan, I do have some doubt with my training progress. Feels like theres no improvement etc.

Honestly, I never been this serious with my marathon training. Never been this consistent too.

Haih.

But I know, I know.. I gotta trust the process.

Anyway, Ive decided not to run KLIA 42km marathon next month as this will definitely affect my targeted race in December. But, I will still join the event and run under 25km category (with my 42k bib). Aci tak?

I got another 6 weeks to go before my Klang marathon. 6 more weeks.

Rest day ❤️

Minggu ni minggu anak2 exam. Sekolah Agama & Sekolah Kebangsaan. Both.

Semoga anak2 mommy tenang dan terang hati  menjawab kertas soalan.

Pas habis exam nanti, kita gi camping & hiking okay?

Tengok movie My Little Pony kat One Utama. Tengok si cantik Aleesya, beria tengok sampai tutup2 mata bila sampai part menakutkan. Gewam mommy. Serm ke citer ni, Cantik?

Augustman 12k run at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang. Well organized event! Kudos to organizer ❤️

Supposed to be 12k recovery run this morning went soo wrong when halfway I ran at my marathon pace.. hihi. Teruja tengok coach Edan lead the run masa u-turn tadi.

Heart rate went haywire. Demmit. Hilly routes again. I hetchu 😂😂.. plus the super hot wheather. Malaysia is sooo hot nowadays. Almost want to DNF at 6km tadi tau. Drama sangat.

Managed to finish the run in 1 hour 13 minutes. Lagi lambat dari semalam.. hihi. Tak verani iols nak speed. Petang ni nak buat long run lagi.. kang fingsan pulak.

Not much pics. No placing. So many speedster chasing the very attractive Suunto prizes.. hihi.

Anyway, good run. Legs felt good. Cant wait to do my LSD petang ni.

I ran Ortho Run organized by HUKM this morning.

Not really enjoy the 12km run coz half of the distance was super hilly especially around Jalan Midah & Tesco area. Haih.. why lah I always got hilly route lately.. 😂😂

Actualli today, I was supposed to join SAC team run the Cenviro Green in Sendayan. Tapi Ive registered Ortho Run earlier. This is my first race event lari depan rumah, so, dont want to miss it. Sorry guys 🤗🤗

I met lotsa fast runner / speedster this morning. Walioo.. susah la nak podium camni.. hihi. Short distance memang aku angkat bendera putih awal2.

The run was great especially when I got the chance to race at my training ground. Cuma.. penat.. haha (as always). Been running non-stop this week (except monday). Even last night pun lari. I got no proper rest. So, this the best I can give for Ortho run: 12km in 1:12.

And I managed to get 7th placing for women open! Kiddos was super happy. Ariff even thanked me "Thank you mommy sebab lari laju2". He lovess the junk food from the hamper.. hihi.

Tomorrow got another 2 more runs (including my long run). Orite, gotta rest (read as masak, kemas rumah, etc) 😁😁😁 SuperMak kann.. ❤️

Weekend dah mari

Asal jumaat je mesti penuh dengan meeting. Why? Why? Why?

Jumaat kan pendek jadual kerja. Pukul 4 dah balik. Bila taim hakak nak buat keje pun tataw.

Tapi hakak cool je. Diaorang merapu la sesama diaorang. Dalam kepala hakak ni duk busy fikir nak buat long run kat mana.. kikiki.

Ada sesiapa nak hajak hakak ukur jalan sama2? Jom? Nanti hakak belanja ABC dengan makan mee rebus famous Ahmad Lim ❤️❤️

Setengah hari duduk dalam bilik meeting dari pagi tadi. Kul doblas setengah baru abis.

Dilema.

Actually, ive signed up for another marathon (KLIA Marathon) which will be held 3 weeks before Klang International Marathon.

The thing is, if I run KLIA 42km, my body will need at least a month to recover. Of course, I can still run Klang 42km. But I dont guarantee I will run it will my targeted pace or finish it with a PB.

As coach Edan always said, training is like saving money in the bank. Spend it during your big day only.

If I use all my 'saving' for KLIA marathon, then theres nothings left for Klang. 3 weeks gap tu  definitely tak sempat nak top up anything in the bank.

If I proceed taking part in KLIA, the pros is I might got sipi2 placing at KLIA but it will be meaningless if I didnt achive what I really want - to break my PB.

This ia tough.

The devil inside me wanted to run both event sekaligus "just do it.. youre an ultra runner, you can handle this katanya"

But the angel keep asking me "dont you want to see the result of your effort and hardwork all this while?"

Haish. Need to decide faster

Wednesday is my weekly session with coach Edan & SAC team.

Today they do it early in the morning at our ussual venue - MPSJ stadium.

Really enjoy the session. And oh, we have new members joining the team: Rashidi Ishak & his wife Vanidah Imran 😍

Drama drama drama.

Legs felt pretty stiff tonight. Hardly move below 9 mins/km. Almost wanted to give up and stop after 2 km. Felt demotivated.

But I told myself to keep going. No matter how slow I am tonight, I gotta complete this run. I must.

I need good vibe.

After 5km super slow pace, legs feels better. Terus sambung another 5km steady pace plus another 2km coling down.

Terus bersemangat semula.

Haish. Drama lepas rest memang macam ni. Rasa nak bagi penampar kat muka sendiri. 🤦

Ok. Now boleh tidur sambil senyum.

Note: Dear Niza, yes I did join a running group. Train (guidance) from coach Edan Syah from Smart Athletic Club. But all of my training, I do it alone. Run alone. Except wednesday (group session - but sometime I missed that too coz time constrain).  If you interested to join me, Im more than happy to run with u. Dont wory about yourre a beginner. I was one a beginner too 😉

Rest day be like... 💪💪💪

Nan hado rehat. Its core training or cross training day. I choose core. Nak cycling maleh. Nak swim pun maleh. Jangan maleh nak lari esok sudah.

Baru nak start guna barbells hari ni. Barbells ni adik lelaki no 7 punya. Dia tinggalkan kat umah aku. Dulu masa bujang dia selalu buat weight lifting. Now dah kahwin, dia weight-lift anak dia je.. haha.

Setiap weight plate berat 2.5kg. Aku ada 4 plates. So total 10kg (tak termasuk berat bar tu lagi) Ok lah as a start kan. Nak pegi gym maleh (maleh lagi.. haha)

Lagipun, aku bukan nak built muscle. Tak minat, seriously.

Antara sebab utama aku buat weight lifting:
1. Built strenght
2. Prevent injury
3. To run faster

Tapi kan sebut pasal muscle.. I kinda like my six pax. Soft tapi bila tekan terasa keras (jakun hihi)

Ended my fourth week training with 10k recovery run.

94k total mileage saved in the bank this week. Kaching! 💰💰💰

Penatnyerrrrr

Done 21k HSN half marathon kat Bukit Tunku yang sangat hazab. Dari first 1km sampai laaa 18km, menghadap bukit je.. *nanges*

Route terlebih distance by 1km kalau ikut suunto.

Timing? Worst ever in my half marathon history.. hihihi. 2 jam 20 minit.

Sedih. Tapi, its just part of my training.  Kalau semua event nak laju, pi tukaq jantung la. Pakai mechanical punya.. Baru laju macam robot kan. Tayah training pun laju 😂😂

Overall, aku impress dengan stamina sendiri. Kaki pun rasa best. Takde lah rasa nak patah riuk or jalan macam penguin. Pahadal, aku dah lari 50km in less than 24 hours okay! Dah ultra distance dah ni. Plus.. almost a week Ive been running non-stop. Everyday ok. Bonk da ni.

Tak dapat nak tunggu lama2 kat finishing line. Risau kiddos. Sampai umah tadi almost pukul 12 malam. Kiddos semua dah tidur. Tenkiuu adik no.8 tolong jadi babysitter malam ni.. hihi.

Happy tengok muka kiddos. Hope I did a good job as a mother while curi2 masa for my marathon training.

Its late. Gotta sleep early. My breasts already screaming for Aleesya.. haha.

Esok got one last training schedule to complete this week before my rest day on Monday.

For the first time... I really look forward for Monday.. 😂😂😂😂

Maybank Fit Tigers Day

Penat lari malam tadi tak habis, kita tambah penat mengejar kiddos keliling track pulak pagi ni.. hihi.

Pagi2 buta gigih pi angkut kiddos semua pi Maybank Academy kat Bangi. Alhamdullilah. Senang nak handle bebudak ni. Semua sangat behave dan mendengar kata. Ultra-mak kannn.. sap sap sui je handle anak sorang2.

Lepas breakfast kat cafe Maybank, aku bawak kiddos pi senamrobik kat tengah2 padang. Enjoy sungguh kiddos. Maklumlah, semua dah biasa terkinja2 berjoget kat rumah dengan aku.. hihi.

We had so much fun!  Thank you Maybank for the awesome event this morning ❤️

Now lets pi cari port makan pulak. Kiddos pun dah penat. Ni sampai umah sure masing2 terus tidur.

Boleh lah mommy join tidur berjemaah sekali. Rest sebelum sambung training.

Malam ni kena buat steady run. Plan nak buat masa HSN run  kat dataran. Arul bagi bib dia suruh larikan (since kaki dia injured masa Asic relay aritu).

Aku ingatkan dia amik kategori 12k.. rupa2nya 21k.. aduyai.. malam tadi baru je abis long run. Malam ni nak kena lari 21k? Kat Bukit Tunku pulak tu. Haish. Tataw la steady atau tak pace aku malam ni.. hihi

I miss hiking trip so much.

Dream big.

When I first join a marathon, I didnt think much of what I want to achieve next. All I want to do is to run faster. Beat my previous record. Repeat. Or paling tinggi pun to be a trialthelete - join Ironman. Or maybe completed my 100k ultras.

But thats not enough. I want more.

Thats untill Jolene said, I should try running the world major marathons. At least one.

So here goes big dreams..

Tokyo Marathon
Boston Marathon
London Marathon
Berlin Marathon
Chicago Marathon
New York Marathon

Since all these world major races kena go thru ballot, and some ada qualifying time that I must achive, I will spend my time running in and around Malaysia dulu.

Ended 3rd week of training with long run session super early this morning. More 💰💰💰💰 saved in the bank. Was suppose to get this done yesterday. Tapi delay it to today because of the race last night.

Oh about last night:

My first experience running a relay race with Asics was not a good one. It was a so~so event with serabut route.. haha. Too many u-turns for a short distance race. Wonder why they did not stick to their original route as posted in the race webpage 🤔🤔🤔

My performance on other hand pun so~so.. kihkihkih. Well that has nothing to do with the route. Told already short distance is not my forte. But, as advised by coach Edan, I will definitely improve my timing.

Overall performance by our team was as expexted. Arul's injured his feet 2 days before the race. Told him to get doctor's opinion. But he insisted running. Team spirit katanya. Luckily nothing happen.

I really had a gooooood time last night. Almost pukul 12 tengah malam baru gerak balik rumah.. hihi ❤️❤️

p/s: Dear Donnasha, W1D1 is my training weeks/days. Will be training for 12th weeks for the upcoming Klang International Marathon in December. Earlier in January this year I managed to break sub-5 hours in full marathon 42km. Hoping I can break sub-4 hours before end of the year. #daretodreams.
